Click on the link below to read the Obituary of Pat Nattle, Sr. He was an incredible athlete and an even better person. I was honored to be his friend. He was the Phoenixville Commissioner for many years and always treated the Norristown teams with the greatest respect and when he umpired and I played there and used to catch. We would talk for the entire double header. Up until this past season in Phoenixville, he would often stop at the field and beep from the street. And Radar (The Umpire) would look at me coaching Third Base and say Steve you are being summoned, LOL. I would run up and talk to him for a couple innings and catch up with him. I enjoyed him. And I am going to miss our little talks we always had.
